This blog is really a journal of my journey into the world of art.
I have no formal art training and have not done much more than doodle since I was a kid. But I am learning that art is an important aspect that has been missing from my life.
Thanks to some wonderful extremely artistic friends in the fountain pen world and on Twitter I have begun this journey - thanks, Mia, for insisting that everyone is an artist!

Lubber Grasshopper
My watercolor still needs a lot of practice, so I'm using a journal and trying to do at least one daily watercolor.
Lovely - such cheerful little fellow! I'm enjoying your art journey and hoping I get inspired. I have some time off coming up and am trying to save one day for painting and art journaling.
