I have no formal art training and have not done much more than doodle since I was a kid. But I am learning that art is an important aspect that has been missing from my life.
Thanks to some wonderful extremely artistic friends in the fountain pen world and on Twitter I have begun this journey - thanks, Mia, for insisting that everyone is an artist!

Happy Holidays
It's just me and the Akita crew for Christmas this year. Mom will come over for dinner tomorrow, but G has gone to visit his mom and his sister's family for the holiday. Hope to use the time to play, draw, paint, read, nap - whatever!!
I have not drawn on dark paper for a long time. It always looks extra nice to my eyes. Nice snow flake! I should probably start drawing in the coming year.
I always wonder about Uniball Signo white marker, now I am tempted to put it on my wanted list. Nice snow flake! Have a great Christmas with Akita crew and enjoy doing what you like!
