This blog is really a journal of my journey into the world of art.
I have no formal art training and have not done much more than doodle since I was a kid. But I am learning that art is an important aspect that has been missing from my life.
Thanks to some wonderful extremely artistic friends in the fountain pen world and on Twitter I have begun this journey - thanks, Mia, for insisting that everyone is an artist!
I love the difference in the pages. The left is so raw, and in the right, it looks as though you have found the focus. There's still variety and energy, but it's more obviously contained. Awesome. I hope it reflects the finding of focus in your real life as well (though, it probably wasn't that easy!)
I love the zentangle page. The use of color enhances the designs and draws the eyes to all of the different parts. Not totally focused yet, but clearly, on the way!! My letter should go out soon - it's in the box, but there's no mail till Tuesday.
